Suzuki V-Strom 250, the much-awaited adventure-touring motorcycle from Suzuki, has made its debut in Nepal at Rs 6.99 Lakh.
The V-Strom 250 sports a rugged, adventure-oriented design, featuring an all-LED headlamp, a tall visor, knuckle guards, and a split-seat arrangement. It also includes robust body fairing.
In terms of dimensions, the V-Strom 250 measures 2,180mm in length, 880mm in width, and 1,355mm in height. It offers a ground clearance of 205mm and a seat height of 835mm. The fuel tank capacity is 12 litres, and the kerb weight is 167kg.
Powering the V-Strom 250 is a 249cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, oil-cooled SOHC engine. This six-speed engine delivers 26.5 PS of power at 9300 rpm and 22.2 Nm of torque at 7300 rpm. It also benefits from Suzuki's Oil Cooling System (SOCS) for quick warm-up and optimal temperature maintenance. Additional features include the Suzuki Easy Start System, Suzuki Ride Connect, and a USB outlet.
For suspension, the V-Strom 250 is equipped with a telescopic fork at the front and a 7-step, preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. It rides on a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, with braking handled by dual disc brakes at both ends and dual-channel ABS.
In our market, the V-Strom 250 will compete with the KTM 250 Adventure.
